I know this is old, but I am very interested in what the best firewall is. I use Norton and I like it as it's a no brainier, Am I missing out on not using Zone Alarm or Comodo that ask the questions and seem to block some things that others do not, such as products that phone home, but are not malicious, or at least it is not considered malicious.

Test eset / with their firewall and avast w./ their firewall. There are a lot of tunings you can do in the firewall setup. Also check out windows 10 firewall control by softsphere. That program seems to run a deny by default for outgoing/incoming communications but it is easy to deal with and seemed effective.

I really do wish people would understand what a firewall is actually for.It is to filter network traffic, nothing more.so why treat it as an anti-malware product..?.Thats the job of an antivirus.This video is an epic fail.

In the verification that way to prove one way or another if there was a file of theirs and if it wasn't if you're lucky enough to find it to begin with with the hundred page search that follows with an actual specific file entry

why did you test a firewall with viruses ? if these viruses don't connect to somewhere, if they don't use internet, firewall does not do anything

online armor is the best firewall for advanced users but unfortunately discontinued.
