Just saw this movie and Im more of a Marvel fan but this is as good a standalone super hero movie you can make imo.
It reminded me of the fun i had watching cartoons when i was a kid, just completely luny, action packed but fueled with emotion.

The film had good humour, Barry Allen story had me invested, Keaton, Affleck great batman scenes

Good to know. In the original Flashpoint comic there's a big battle between the Amazons and Wonder Woman, and the Atlantians with Aquaman. Mera has a shocking end. I knew none of that would be in this due to the cost. I loved the original Bioshock. Such a great game and story! Marvel leapt over a ton of great comic stories from the 70s and 80s to rush into the worst era to adapt a lot of crap stories. Thank you, Mr. H. Hope you have a great weekend!

It was okay. What I did like was Keaton and Super-Girl. She wasn’t “woke girl boss”. Flash #2 was terrible. When Keaton showed up, it was fun. Batfleck scenes were pretty cool. CGI was bad with Flash(es). Batman’s and Super Girl fight scenes were decent. I’m totally lost on Clooney and Aquaman aspects.

I do t care what anyone says about this movie. I’ll never watch it. Ezra is a piece of garbage and dc movies are just dead ends on the way to the reboot.

Saw it today. I enjoyed it for what it was. I liked superwoman George Clooney at the end was cool.

Did you have to fight the fear that Ezra might leap off the screen, and rampage through the theater?

I have so many questions after seeing this.

1) So when the Flash finally fixed everything, is Keaton's Batman still a loser and is Cara Zor-el still imprisoned?

2) If so, were they able to stop Zod or were they inevitably doomed to die?

3)Did their deaths happen in the first place because of his initial messing with the timelines?

4)Also is Barry now in the Schumacher Batman universe if Bruce is George Clooney? I always thought that was a continuation of the Tim Burton universe, or maybe it's not...

5) Nichloas Cage's Superman was not apart of the Burton universe?

6) Is the Barry who would become Dark or Reverse Flash dead in his timeline or was that fixed as well?

Just got back from the cinema, my thoughts were pretty similar
- It wasn't a waste of 2nhalf hours
- it wasn't my favourite superhero movie by a long shot
- but one of my more favoured DC movies, but I do think DC fumbles the bag a lot compared to Marvel.
- and way too many of the special effects were garbage... so, so, trash. I cannot understand how the exec team watched the final cut and all looked at each other going "Yep this is the quality we should be putting out publicly"

Also add, I went with a mate who was literally going to see Keaton, he was super happy with how much Keaton was in the movie, we were both surprised a lot more than we thought there would be.

Despite the awful CGI, I enjoyed it. But what stood out for me was the fight between Zod and Kara, it was everything Disney wouldn't dare show on screen. Much like the aged hero who comes out of retirement and becomes the hero he once was again. I truly believe the look they gave Keaton's Bruce Wayne before donning the cape again was a direct dig at the last jedi.

Its sad that people dont care about movies anymore, only what they hear on social media. Very sad.
Loved the movie btw, so far one of if not the best dc movies since MoS
