1.1 Introduction to the particulate nature of matter and chemical change
• Atoms of different elements combine in fixed ratios to form compounds, which have different properties from their component elements.
• Mixtures contain more than one element and/or compound that are not chemically bonded together and so retain their individual properties.
• Mixtures are either homogeneous or heterogeneous.
• Deduction of chemical equations when reactants and products are specified.
• Application of the state symbols (s), (l), (g) and (aq) in equations.
• Explanation of observable changes in physical properties and temperature during changes of state.

Hey, really appreciate yours videos on chem, I find it tremendously helpful! But do you have videos on the naming? Like what they call it the IUPAC, one example can be like pent-1, 3-diene. I really have no idea how to do this stuff, please help!!

I love his lessons but one thing annoys me and it’s that he speaks really fast about things that are important and need time to process

I don’t think “smallest part of an element” will get me any marks if they ask what’s an atom
