@Life.of.lori...

Lori...
You say you're "out of practice"; and, yet, these fouettés look seamless, elegant, and beautiful! This video proves how well-trained, skilled, and experienced you are! Positive and Light!

I used to love changing my spots for longer fouette sequences, and switching between regular fouettes, a la secondes, and multiple turns, just to add some extra artistry and individuality to the choreography of my solos.

Dear Lori, Hiiii you are like my biggest inspiration in life I love you so so much you literally have my dream life! I am 12 years old and I do ballet 3-4 times a week for 2 hours each day. I started pointe last year and love it so much. Can you please make some videos about you at that age? I know you’re very busy but please try to keep that video idea in mind. My biggest dream is to become a professional ballerina like you! I know it’s a lot to ask for but I would also love some video on what you did to become a professional ballerina did you go to dance college? Did it involve doing some practicing on your own at home? I would love to hear more about your journey. In your video you said to email location I live in Boston and would love to see you perform! You are such an inspiration to me and my dream is for you to replyyy I’ve been copy and pasting this message on every video so please

I loveeee doing spotters! I’m better at Alaseconde turns (I have no idea how to spell it LOL) but I’ll have to try reversing the spot with fouettés next time!

Impressive fouettes! And it's interesting how I can see every step of the fouette, you don't skip the proper a la seconde opening. I'll take this as an example to follow 😅👏🏻❤️

Wait how the hell does she do that without spinning the other way?! I swear ballet is a level of skill beyond my feeble comprehension skills

Of all the skills you learned coming up as a young ballerina, which skill do you find to be the most valuable as a professional?

So freaking cool. My brain gets very confused when you reverse the spot. Like I physically feel it stuttering to process the visual cue.

Lori, are you practising these with a performance in mind, or to keep the muscle memory in tact?

For a second there... I saw that weird illusion with the dancing woman turning where it looks like shes going either side and i thought I was high as balls. Well. I am high as balls. I'm sure these things aren't correlated.
