Gouverneto Monastery (or Gouvernetos i.e. Μονή Γουβερνέτου) is a Greek Orthodox monastery on the Akrotiri peninsula on the island of Crete, Greece. The monastery is dedicated to Our Lady of the Angels. The monastery is located 30 km from the city of Chania and near the Agia Triada Monastery.

The Gouverneto monastery was built in 1537 (and probably finished in 1548) during the Cretan Renaissance in a Greco-Italian style in particular a Palladio Venetian architecture mixed with Greek-Orthodox elements. At that time it was the largest monastery of Crete with 60 monks. Since 2005 the monastery is in continuous renovation. It is located in a beautiful remote place, typical for Eastern Christian ascetic tradition.
