Foam Cannon Comparison. Economical all the way to expensive. What is the right fit for your foam cannon needs. I take a deep look at 4 foam cannons priced @ $10 - $35 - $75 - $90. These Foam Cannons are all designed specifically for auto detailing. Foam cannons make applying soap to your vehicle fun and easy. Here are my findings and opinions about these foam cannons.

Great buy at this price. Good foam and overall build quality. I would consider this best for a new DIY car washer, as a spare for a pro, use it with wheel cleaner to foam the wheels and other foam related products that you do no want to run through an expensive foam cannon. At this price I will have 2-3 of these on hand.
Had trouble adjusting and using this Foam Cannon. Nozzle adjustment is stiff and difficult to fine tune. Produced an unpredictable result with runny foam. Eventually made foam but was overall unpredictable. I am sure there are ways to troubleshoot this cannon and get it working but I wanted to show exactly what I went through on my first use with it. I also don't want to troubleshoot an brand new tool especially with a fully functioning $10 model on hand.
My personal pick of the 4. Great build quality. High quality bottle made with durable materials. Bottle neck is large and very easy to work with. High quality brass internals and stainless steel fitting. Easy to adjust the nozzle. Outstanding foam generation. I rate this best bang for the buck. I have used this cannon for a while now with fantastic results.
Has been my go to foam cannon for years. Always produces consistent reliable foam. Very easy to adjust nozzle. Looks cool. Bottle neck definitely needs updating to be larger. Hassle to clean and fill.

I’m all for the $10 sprayer. Sure the 75 and 90 ones are better but the price difference is ridiculous in my opinion. I would just carry a replacement back up.

Let's be honest. We all buy these foam cannon's so we can see the best foaming action when foaming our cars and the MJJC Pro foamed by far much better than the top dog MTM PF 22.2. I'll definitely be adding that to my arsenal!! Thanks for the great comparisons!

$75 was the best for me. The foam action 🤯sheeesshh

My $10 foam cannon also performed pretty badly (A lot of extra water coming from the top and bottom of the cone) when I would close the valve pretty tight, so I have to have the valve open around the same space as the $90 one. I think the $90 manufacturers also realized that fault, so they set the valve space limit.

I bought a cheap foam cannon when I first got it all setup, I seriously will just be going with the $75 unit just for the peace of mind.
I think it is insane because I am sure the mark-up is huge since it’s fairly simple stuff, but ease of filling up and solid foam and I wont have to worry about it for a long time.

MJJC for the win! Your previous review had me buy one. I have seen nothing compare. Also great advice about replacing the orifice, I have a simple SunJoe electric power washer, and the foam it produces is untouchable. Super thick. Remember everyone, lay the foam down on a dry vehicle. Not on a wet one, it allows the foam to stick to the dirt.

I had the MJJC. It was my first foam cannon. The foam coming out from that canon was insane. But, the thing about the MJJC foam cannon is that the plastic threading wears off. So when I had it for about seven months it detached while I was forming a car and left a big mess on the floor. In my opinion, the MTM foam cannon is the best. I had the MTM for two years and it’s bulletproof and the plastic threading is designed that it won’t wear off.

MJJC towards the top end price wise, but looked to do an awesome job. Thick foam, easy fill and empty, weighted suction hose. For me a winner. Peter.

MATCC snow canon for the win in my book. Paid around $20 for it if I recall and it has been awesome and never failed. It look very similar to your 10 dollar model, but the head does articulate and it lays down foam like crazy. I would like to offer a little trick since all soaps are not created equal and that's to put your soap in the container and add warm water ( not cold ) as many soaps will break down and mixed with the water much easier creating better foam results.
