Nine National Guardsmen enter the Louisiana swamp for routine training, but an error in judgment by one of the team incites an all-out war with some angry Cajuns who know the territory like the backs of their hands. Armed with a precious few bullets, and confused by the dimly lit, moss-covered maze into which they've stumbled, the guardsmen know they'll be picked off one by one, until they come up with a solution using the only resources they have left...their wits.

I remember when i was in the Army Reserve in NY in 87 we went on our 2 week training at Fort Indian Town Gap and the guys in mu platoon kept saying the line "This is our home and nobody done fuck with us"....as soon as I got back home I rented this at the video guy I remember from that unit was my platoon sergeant SSGT Larry Komenda...i was only with them a year and then moved to Honolulu...

The trailer almost gives away too much. The "enemy" for most of the movie is an invisible enemy fighting on its home turf. It's supposed to remind us of the Viet Cong in Vietnam.

if it had at least one star in the roles (say Kurt Russel, Dennis Quaid, James Woods, Mickey Rourke..) I bet it would've done decent sized box-office, but it starred all unknowns, good actors but none a box-office draw.
