This ship has the highest chance of happening in one piece, the amount of hints and ship tease that Oda has given for this is crazy.

1) One of the earlier prototype versions of one piece had a guy who cannot swim named clam(luffy) fall in love with the girl lisel(nami)

2) The positive comments of Oda on luffyxnami fanarts in Ussop gallery, there is even one where he signed a fanart of luffy being the prince to nami being cindrella.
meanwhile Oda straightup mocked Sanjixnami calling it stupid and delusional in Ussop gallery.

3) Oda approved a official spinoff called "One piece Koisuru" in which characters named Luffy and nami are in Love. He also commented that he would draw kiss-kiss fruit in manga so that those 2 can kiss.

4) There are many color spreads drawn by Oda depicting Luffy and Nami as King and queen.(also the strawhat connection between them, where nami is frequently shown with the strawhat)

5) Oda has written the only movie till now "Strong World" where he confirmed in its interview that he doesnt plan to bring any other heroine for luffy other than Nami.
Even in 2019 interview he confirmed that Nami is indeed the heroine of one piece(even bleach author said Orihime is heroine not rukia)

Strong world also kinda confirmed nami's feeling for luffy when she blushed after luffy heard her message(search for 3 sec reaction drawn by Oda for strong world)

Oda also intervened in film "Gold" to make a parallel between luffy-nami to tersoro and his lover.

6) In Weatheria, nami said that Luffy will die if she isnt with him and Luffy promised to genzo in front of bellemeres grave that he will never take her smile away.(so basically they are destined to live together for the rest of their lives)

7) Hancock was originally planned to be a villian but later his editors made her to be a beautiful women. Also *Luffy rejected her twice*(he designed her to be a gag character and not a partner of luffy, hence such height and age difference and rejections)

8) Oda said in his 2022 interview with detective Conan's Author that he only keeps one sided romance as gag(so luffyxhancock and sanjixnami are bascically killed)

9) Also for the no romance in the crew, Oda never said that. He said that they are in love with adventure.(the couples will be given at end of series) Also the "no romance in crew" is strictly for Live action series as the directors there were going for zoroxnami hence Oda had to intervene.

Oda has given many more hints, but it would be way to long to write. But remeber this couple is almost canon. and these 2 will always travel together for rest of their lives as their dreams match the most.

When Nami calls luffys name there's always an emotion to it weither its her being angry, sad, happy or worried they all have meaning to it and whenever i hear her say his name it gives me butterflys because only luffy can make her go through a rollercoaster of feelings just like that which kinda makes me happy and sad😅😁😭

Nami and Luffy have been there for eachother through so many times it's really insane, the way they fight for each other, Nami's going to be with Luffy till the end, she is his navigator after all

Also a nice theory: when nami was a baby/child, she needed a pinwheel(similar to windmill)to keep her happy. after luffy rescued the village, genzo says he doesnt need to give her a pinwheel as its of no use to her, implying that she now has luffy who will keep her smile. Surprise Surprise Luffy is from Foosha village(windmill village) and he promised genzo to never take her smile away.(only him not the crew)

LuffyxNami is one of the One Piece ships I truly believe in. I'm not against the BoaxLuffy, but I really don't like the idea of a one sided relationship suddenly turning into a real thing out of nowhere.
