What I find interesting as a fan of history, is that back in the day people who created or bought these items, did so only for practicality and functionality. They may have purchased that wooden bowl for kneading bread, but today we collect them, admire them, and treasure them… and I thoroughly enjoy every minute

Being Italian and about to move to in Tuscany, I can say there is a lot of French style in this video. Typical tuscan style must include the 'cotto toscano', the typical irregular reddish terracotta floors. The walls are usually painted with intense colours such as red, orange, green and blue while the beams and the furniture is almost always dark, the latter being made of just a few, very essential pieces. This is the TYPICAL Tuscan style. What is shown in this video is perhaps the choice many house owners who live in Italy have made, that is, a lighter and more Provence-like style. I personally prefer it too, however mind that this is not the 'typical tuscan style'.

Thank you for this wonderful video, and for showing some of the more simple raw and rustic Tuscan looks, not just the fancy ones (eg the rustic vibe of 4:16 versus the shiny and perfected 4:21) There's something for many tastes in here.
