“There, pretty as a picture.” Warfare as fine art, that's the attitude, of these supermodels of the space marines. That 'perfection' is subjective in concept never seemed to concern these astartes. Criticism of egos leading to downfall aside, the prestige of specialist swordsmen not wielding power weapons is a striving achievement the likes of the Dark Angels did not match. Those 350 swords collected by the champion whose name I couldn't find to spell properly, had to have been kept in their own section of an arsenal room if not entire vault of their own., Preferentially 'perfect'.
At least the legion's insistence upon maintaining weaponry of their vanquished opponents provides a wider set of variations in minis design and lore imagery to stare at. The Carnival Swords and the Power Spears are gracefully artistic weapons worthy of the craft that the IIIrd Legion drove themselves to literally uphold. The warhammer spike on the head of the Power Spear opposite its blade is a fine touch, just as theose units' avian faceplates are as stylishly sharp-looking as any of the other pieces of Fabio's Finest, purple-people-eater legionnaire armour.
The Phoenix Guard, Fulgrim's prime entourage of the Imperium military. Their Terminators do indeed seem mighty. Elegance somehow blended with both a Mongolian-like (sorry, White Scars) and Roman era barbarian-like aesthetics.
I like your switch to a cinematic scroll of your “end credits” supporters' roll, GDN. Just as I wonder for my own part what remnants, if any, of the Phoenix Guard held out; either in the Materium or the Immaterium. Yes, it was interesting to know more about these prettyboy peacocks' prime warrior specialists, Narrator. I appreciate hand-to-hand expertise. Until your next drop pod landing into another legion's lore, I bid you have a healthy, awesome and uncorrupted next week. The Emperor protects.

Plus I once painted 1000 points each of both Phoenix guard and Palatine blades and did a diorama of them leaping into battle out of a thunder ship
But i Iike the Palatine blades
The best because of their swordsmen tradition and sword's 😃👍

The reason behind association with the Phoenix is because they started with 200 at Fulgrims founding....and had to 'rise from the ashes' of the destruction of bad genes that had eviscerated the Legion beforehand.

Now I'm wonder if this is one of 2 ideas that the black templars took from a traior legion.
