I started breaking out in hives 4 years ago and tried altering my diet to find a cause only to realize a few months ago that it’s stress induced. I am still on medication but am trying to suppress it. Glad that i am not alone and hopefully everyone can get rid of this illness because it’s highly uncomfortable to live with.

I’m 41, I starting getting hives in my teens, my personal belief was that the hives were attributed to pesticides. At the end of my teen years I just stopped breaking out into hives. Thank God because hives are scary. Add on: I always got hives in the summer, plus, one time I broke out, I opened a produce box of peaches, as soon as I opened it…boom. Every time I had to go to the hospital and take a needle shot of Benadryl. The very fist sign hives were a comin: my nose would get hard, then the tiny dots on my arm would metaticize and so on…

I started to get hives something so badddd, I thought it was something I ate, maybe clothing, stress, my sons mom or allergic reaction and then i truly thought i was having a heart attack, at the ER and it turned out it was my gallbladder that was bad..i haven't had them once since it was removed. There are so many things that can trigger hives..

I've been breaking out lately for almost everyday. Most severe during my work shift so it's possible that it's stress induced in my case. I can attest though that exercise helps me a lot.

If you don't want to take medication for it. Bi-Carbonate of Soda (baking soda) is instant relief if you wet your hands and rub it into the area. I have found it to be so, as I've been doing this for five years now.

I have urticaria and no doctors can tell me what's wrong. It's getting way worse. Stress and sleep is a big factor but when I'm not stress or sleep deprived I still have the hive episodes. It's very painful and debilitating. Need answers!

When doctors are agreeing that they can not find CAUSE , than why do they recommend to go to doctor ....& start the unnecessary process .

Thank you for your testimonial! I’m going to try working out to see if it helps. Which I think it will, because I read that heat hives is directly related to your sweat glands. So it makes sense that if you work out, you’re constantly flushing out your sweat glands & possibly producing new sweat glands.

I had hives for past 6 months, did try everything / medicine nothing seemed to work. And when I left my workplace, it completely disappeared. I worked in a warehouse so it has lot of dust/pollen. So anyone struggling with this intense allergy. Changing your location might be the solution for you.

It started when I was 29, now, two years later it got way worse. First I was fine with one zyrtec per 3 days, now I need at least one per day against the itch. I think it's food allergies.

If you can’t find the cause it’s stress
