So after seeing this review, I bit the bullet (harhar) and actually bought one. It took an obnoxiously long time to receive (6 months), but the wait was TOTALLY worth it. The speaker is really impressive. It sounds better than many soundbars in the same price range. This thing GETS LOUD without distortion. The build construction is really why it's worth the price of admission. Kevlar speakers means this thing will last a lifetime. The battery life is equally impressive as well. Listening at moderate volume for 4 hours a day, it takes about a week to drain the battery. Easily beats the most expensive Bose, JBL, Altec Lansing, or Sony portable speakers on the market.

All-in-all, sure, the admission price may be high, but buying a less quality speaker means you'd probably have to buy multiple replacements over the years, or one could just spend the same amount at one time and getting a really high quality speaker (that looks cool too) made by a small business with a great ethic about the products they sell. 

(For anyone interested, there is a pre-configured model that has bluetooth and USB charging ports for $450 USD. This is the one I purchased)

I own one of their wood (Teak) models ... they sound absolutely amazing. Everything works perfect and the battery life is insane for the amount of power it can deliver. Bottom line, if you are into quality sound, this is worth every penny.

those are some cool speakers for sure makes me want to build my own instead of buying that one. I do have a question about the song that starts at 3:50 name and artist. I'm not being lazy I tried to find it on your soundcloud, and other links also shazam didn't know what it was. others here in the comment section want to know as well.
