Copy Skin-Tones & Colors from Other Photos - Photoshop Shorts Tutorial

To copy colors from other photos, first, you need to open the reference photo and the photo to edit. Drag and drop the reference photo into the working document. Now add curves adjustment and place it below the reference and above the background layer. Select curves, and take the highlight color picker by double-click. sample highlight color from the reference photo and apply sampled color onto the background layer. Similarly, sample mid-tones and shadows and apply them to the background photo. Finally, adjust the curves dark and white slider to fine-tune the image.

Wooowwww. Can I ask a question? I'm new to learning ps and been asked to make a cover with famous people references or look alikes. Is it possible to use famous people if I find some not copyright? Like could I just use their eyes or lips no matter if its Google image or not? Its so confusing but I need to be sure and perfect. Please help
