I've been waiting year for the redesign. I have a 2015 Murano. I like what I see - I recently drove the new Kicks and I test drove the Ariya last year - this new Murano has features from both. I was HOPING for a HYBRID though if I have to give up the 6-cylinder for a 4-cylinder turbo. I'll hold off - maybe, just maybe Nissan will release a hybrid Murano.

As a long time fan of the Nissan Murano, I am heartbroken. This is a disgrace to the Nissan Murano family. Every year the looks would improve but 2025 broke that streak. NOT a fan. Looks like a Hyundai ❌

The interior looks promising but the exterior design misses the mark. The lighting in the front is reminiscent of the Hyundai Tucson. The side profile of the vehicle doesn't really do anything exceptionally well. The dark roofline sloping down the back was seen years ago on the Mustang Mach e but I understand wanting to use it on this vehicle. This is definitely a design upgrade from the previous iteration but just cannot make up its mind if it is elegant or mean looking with the wide stance. Sorry Nissan, you just didnt get it quite right.

I don’t see this selling well in a crowded crossover market as Nissan has declined in their reputation. The front end style is different but might alienate some buyers. Nissan is also taking way too long to bring their hybrid technology to North America. Hyundai/Kia has taken Nissan’s spot as an alternative to Honda and Toyota.

Bad move you did the same with 2025 Qx 60 2025 is now 4 cylinder and sales will be off on both cars
