Well ya damn sure look like you're feelin better, God I hope you're fixed up once and for all with nothin but happy days ahead! Possums don't make great pets, but you could feed it in a constant spot outside or where ever. He/she/it will get used to that location and leave the rest of your stuff alone hopefully. And too it's easy enough to poison the thing if you just want it gone. I feed mine, and a racoon, and the stray kitties. They all like dry cat food, just in case you were wondering what they eat....
