I'd love to see any more DIY videos that you have. There's a YouTuber who does a DIY radiant heat panel and anything like that would be interesting

Thanks so much! And yes, I'm a "she" :). I'll ask my question here in case it helps others. There are times you'd use the hook to reach in and pick her up, yes? I know that even if they're being touchy they tend to calm down once they're outside the enclosure. Do you just use her attitude/body language to determine when to use the hook?

All the snakes I've personally kept can't do any real damage. I worked with big boas and retics when I was a vet tech but hook use was inconsistent so I didn't learn as much as I'd like. I'm preparing to get a Green Tree Python, which will mainly be a display snake, but I'll still want to get it reasonably socialized and want to be sure I'm using the hook properly. Thanks again for straightforward, common-sense content.

Wonderful video! Now if I ever do actually get and use a hook I will have a general idea of how to use it.

*Request* can you do a video on. DIY radiant heat panel, can't seem to find a video on it the only one I found the guy already built it then attempted to do a video after and explain with a drawing 😂. You're the man whether you can make this happen or not!
