Hydrolosis Drop Test - Team 1 Plastics Quality Excellence!

At Team 1 Plastics, we use many measures to ensure quality of parts. One of those measures involves checking for the amount of moisture in our parts using a method called the Hydrolysis Drop Test. This slow-motion video shows that method.

Here you can see we are checking the brittleness of a runner from parts currently being produced. With this method, the Quality Auditor secures a runner into place and a weight is dropped onto it. If the runner breaks in a specific spot, the material is too brittle and contains too much moisture.
