Circle of Willis -- Vascular Anatomy of the Brain

PFL - Circle of willis is essential to learn for any health professionals. The circle of Willis is evaluated in many stroke patients, in patients with tumors and in patients with aneurysms. It is very common have diagnostic studies, such as DSA - Digital subtraction Angiography of the brain, MRA - Magnetic Resonance Angiography of the circle of WIllis and CT angiography of the circle of Willis. It is therefore a must to have a solid understanding of the circle of willis, the arteries that make it and the arteries that make anterior circulatory system as well as posterior circulatory system.
