They finally said that he got off the blocks too quick. They said it takes like 12 milliseconds for the human body to react to the gun, and he did it in like 8 milliseconds (I don’t remember the exact numbers).

So they DQ’d him. I was furious, my wife was furious, and the runner was irate. It was the worst call in track and field that meet. It still hurts to see him so upset, the poor kid.
