Despite this, Afton’s evil persists through digital remnants and new creations, such as Glitchtrap, a digital version of his consciousness.

The lore extends across multiple games, books, and timelines, delving into themes of family, loss, revenge, and the consequences of unchecked ambition. It remains one of gaming’s most intricate and debated stories.
