ARAZI: A BREEDERS' CUP CHAMPION AT 30

Champion young racehorse Arazi produced a performance for the ages in the 1991 Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Churchill Downs, Kentucky, United States.

Among his Grade One haul, he boasts successes in the Prix Morny, Prix De La Salamandre and the Ciga Grand Criterium.

Now 30, Arazi lives out his days in Australia under the care of Stockwell Thoroughbreds.

Each time I see Arazi's Breeders Cup Juvenile victory, I still get a shiver up and down my spine. His victory in 1991 was the greatest performance by a two- year-old in the history of thoroughbred racing. We will never see anything to match it.

Probably my favorite horse race ever that or Victory Gallops breeders cup .And Arazi goes right by him, ,,,I've always said if I could a afford a horse I'd want one to win this race never mind a 5 runner Dewhurst or a 2000 guineas. ..I really wanted Pinatubo to go for the breeders cup juvenile

I still say today that, that derby race was fixed. Arazi made the same run from behind like in the breeders cup
