Good for you, Tommy. That was excellent!!! Steven Anderson is revealing the depth of wickedness in his heart. Slamming his children and calling them liars. Slamming other pastors and insulting them!!!! I have never seen anything so disgusting.

I never thought about Steven Anderson acting like Jim Jones but now I see it! He absolutely refuses to repent or acknowledge any of his sin! I've raised 9 children and have plenty of memories where I sinned and fell short of being a good mom. But God has given me His awesome mercy! My kids still love me!😅

I really respect you Pastor Tommy for being willing and able to take a stand against what Steven Anderson is doing when so many people aren't. With all due respect, in my humble opinion, I think the kids should be allowed to talk about it more if they need to. When it comes to abuse victims, I'm not so sure it's best to put a limit on what they can say or a time limit on how long they can share. They are finally finding their freedom to open up and that freedom should be protected just like they should be. I think the message to abuse victims should always be "talk as much as you need to. I'm here and support you no matter how long it takes."
Not everything is remembered the first time around either. More traumatic things could still come to the surface at some point and it should be mentioned. I think healing for these kids will come through talking and having support.
Editing this to add that what is going on here is not just about revealing. It's also about healing.

Steven Anderson is done this time. The writing is on the wall. He is only pro-longing the inevitable. He is going out like "MacBeth" ( Throne of Blood [ref Macbeth (1957) by Akira Kurosawa ). It reveals his true nature as a fighter-intimidator type guy that is only going to go down in a blaze. His pride has lifted him up to extreme levels. So tragic to see this after watching him since 2010. He has gradually been getting more and more out there in his doctrines and stances.

As an athiest, i never thought I'd agree with tommy Boy here, but I totally agree. Even as a woman the only time i disrespected my dad was when he put his hands up to my mother so i stepped in his way looked up at him and told him he'd have to go through two women his ;his daughter and spouse, And I told him he wasn't worth shit if he could do either(especially with how much smaller we were than him; mom was 4'10, and im 5ft 1in. Dad was just shy of 6.)

Wow! Mr. McMurtry! I was not expecting these things that come out of your mouth. I admit, I clicked on this video just to see all of the defense and justification of Mr Anderson. I used to think you were just two peas in a pod. I knew you were associated with him years ago but kind of lost touch and then got back into the whole nifb movement. I don't know if you guys had a falling out or what butt regardless, you are the absolute voice of reason and Humanity in the situation. I wish he could take a step back and humble himself for a few minutes and absorb what you are saying. I am not yet halfway through this video but I haven't said" yes!" and "absolutely!" this many times in response to a video in ages. I wanted to reach out and sincerely thank you

Ps. McMurtry is very impressive here. I can really say why he's so keen to rid himself of Anderson and the New IFB and any suggestion he's tied to them.
