I hope the following comment isn't taken in bad will or in a mean-spirited way, but as a guy who loves ya'lls work and has adore most of the stuff you have put out since I was first introduced your band; It is a bit saddening to see the usage of AI imagery in this video. Although it looks subjectively okay and it might serve as good accompanying imagery for a song that obviously slaps by enhancing the experiences through visuals; I can't say I can get behind normalizing the usage of AI in any way. Whether it be for something simple as background imagery or not, it can serve as future example for companies and people wanting to produce quick content at cheap cost by reusing assets or voices from whoever or whatever artist, for whatever type of purpose.

Meanwhile I'm willing to give you guys the benefit of doubt by assuming you all wanted to give this video the best visuals possible but didn't had the resources available to achieve commissioning a professional video editor for such thing, hence why ya'll opted to go for AI instead, as it was cheap yet effective; I really would hope that in the future a practice like this is avoided because it'd just influence others that saw success in ya'll approach to do the same instead of employing people to work on these sort of stuff.

Already, as we speak, there are companies and countries whom have fired many workers from their jobs only because they've seen it more viable leaving simple task to auto-mated systems that can do it all at not cost. You can say to yourselves that "it's kind of dumb to think a video from you guys could help make the issue worse since it wasn't made with ill intentions", and you'd be right wasn't it for the fact the current usage of AI so ambiguous companies are not using it with the intent of it being a supplementary tool for human work, but rather a straight up replacement.

Furthermore, people seeing that you guys are okay with using AI could end up being potentially harmful to you all in the future if someone decides to do start doing covers of copyrighted material or maybe make original songs of their own meanwhile using you guys' voices, then proceed to promote that as official Confetti material; Or worse, use your voices to say harmful things to tarnish ya'lls reputation, because that's how the internet works.

I'd only hope this comment made you guys reflect and reconsider ever using AI again because, even though it might be novel and it might look cool, the long run effects of this technologies haven't truly been felt yet and already is changing the human work-space for the worst; And I'd hate to see you guys being associated among the ones that helped normalize it.
