One thing more that you can spam the sea forts rather than taking a whole map journey just go to old brine stone and ancient gold again and again

there is a better way to stack sea forts. if you did one, you can sail around two squares of the map away and the fort will reset. this gives aou much less sailing time

You didn’t mention commodities. It’s a great way to make money you can also do it combined with lost shipment voyage from merchant. And it’s better to do the ancient gold, old brinestone fortresses because they are close together and you can just do them back to back.
