Mixcraft 7 Effects: Using Send Tracks

How to process multiple tracks with a single instance of an effect with send tracks.

Send tracks are tracks that aren't (normally) used to record sound on themselves, but to apply those adjustments to multiple, perhaps even all, tracks the same way. For example: if the drums are not on one track, but are instead spread out across multiple tracks (which is common), there is often the desire to treat them all the same in terms of volume, effects, etc. Instead of doing that for each track, you can set up a single send t🛑rack to apply to all of them.

Important to update for version 8 as the red knob seems to have been eliminated in the mixer strip, and now appears in the channel strip.

I know this video is old, but when I try to use a send track for multiple vocal tracks, the original plays alongside the send track. Is there a way to prevent this? I want audio to only be coming out of my send track. I don't want the original tracks without the added FX playing at the same time.

Guys how do you affect only the effects in the send track without raising the volume of the actual track you're affecting like in other daws Still haven't figured that out.

How come when i have a send applied to one track i can hear the original version in the background? like im using an amp sim on a guitar and i can hear the clean guitar as well?

Im working with micxraft from 2016 till now and i found that in send track is always in pre mode and this don't change in post mode

Send Tracks are special tracks that can hold their own effects and track automation. Route some of each track's audio to a Send.

On the Mixer interface, you can adjust the amount of each track going to the currently selected Send🎛 knob. The Send knobs are red🛑.

Mixcraft high CPU usage??

Hey, I'm running the latest version of Mixcraft 6 on my laptop and it been running sweet for the last month have not had any problems with it.

About a week ago I've noticed the CPU usage from Mixcraft gets really high, I have not changed any settings at all, there are no programs running in the background on my laptop, and projects that use to play fine in Mixcraft are now also using up way too much CPU to the point where the playback is all glitchy and terrible.

Anyone else experienced this? or have a fix for it?

Just clicking the +Trrack and selecting the Add send track itself is not not enough for the Send to work. Take some proper training and do the video.
