The Starter is a good beater knife, I picked one up for about 15$ at a swap meet. I wasn't expecting much and I didn't get much. The pivot screw is never tight. The blade sharpens nicely but it loses an edge quickly. I love the design, I wish they made it higher quality. Makes a good *ahem* starter knife, for anyone looking to get into knives

I have the Manifold. It's very heavy, the jimping is slippery and worthless, the blade is dull out of the box, and the clip bends very easily.

Love the Blackwash and designs of these knives BUT, tip down is a deal breaker for me.

Too bad the lifter's edge is concave. If I were to buy tanto type, I would do that for easy resharpening. And easy resharpening is easy only with straight edge.

cool knife. but the steel is 3cr13. not 8cr13. dont lie to your customers. especially when the damn specs on the blade on your website say something else.

I'm tired of cheap Chinese steels in affordable knives, upgrade the steel a little to 440C or AUS8. That's still affordable steel, and then your making your consumers happy. =) There are quite a few knives around $20.00, that offer AUS8 and 440C. These knives would be great with 440C, funny thing,  when I was a youngster 440C was considered a "super steel", that was just in the early nineties.

so close, too bad they are frame and liner locked. its like the wimpiest locking system
