I used to like Micah a lot when I first started watching YouTube golf but when he left the way he did from good good or wasn't the same. I think his attitude when he plays poorly is the thing that turns me off. Maybe it reminds me too much of my own bad attitude. Whatever it is I hope he can find a way to recover and improve.

I see two factors. First, he is the M in GM golf, and he's Garrett's cousin. He stayed at Garrett's house when he was a college golfer and Garrett was a kid. I always assumed those two understood each other's decisions and wish each other the best, but a lot of fans see a betrayal factor. Second, Micah as a golfer is about a +8 with the driver but gets closer to a 5 or 6 as the clubs shorten. Unfortunately, we all hit the shorter clubs more often. People have skepticism about this notion of becoming a tour pro with him -- it's unrealistic in many ways unless he gets consistency inside 150 yards vastly improved. I see this as fans being negative about his stated intent. I hope he makes it -- I hope they all achieve their individual goals -- but some people like to focus on how they perceive his goals as too lofty given his history in the game.

Luke for Micah is the biggest upgrade for good good, one of the best things that happened to GG, Luke fits so much better

I feel like the relations soured only because no one listened when Micah stated from the start what his ultimate goals were. I dont have any ill will towards any group, but people really are taking things too personal. I dont get why people cant just be happy for all parties and wish them success? what exactly does hating someone because they dont belong to a certain group of golfers do ?

Micah was a good foil in GG to the big personalities and more casual play of the others - his best angle is still being the big ball in a match among others that can talk, like Jerge and Wesley, and letting his game do most of his talking. No interest in watching him unless it's a collab or simply tourney footage.

The issue with Micah is in my opinion he is bland. I understand why he left, he doesn't fit with the young hip vibe good good gives off. Micah is a traditional golfer and his videos come across as "old style of golf". I mean he is good at golf just doesn't keep people's attention.

I like Micah if not just for the fact that he has the guts to chase his dream and put everything out there for the whole world to see including the failures. That is one thing most people don’t have the guts to do at all. Pro golf is not easy and not many people make it. I am living proof of that. RESPECT TO MICAH.

I think it's more so Micah attitude. He has a "my 💩 don't smell" feel to him. He got on Bubbies case too often and seemed to be negative. Honest sure, but negative. I feel Good Good is better without him. Grant will always be missed. Big smile. Great attitude. Micah is a great golfer. That has never been the argument IMO.

Outside of long drives he doesn't offer much.
I still watch his collabs because he plays with Grant or BustaJack or Bryan's.
Hes not smart or funny or engaging enough to watch on his own.

personally i don't watch anyone content besides TIG, Grant and Luke those three i just resinate for what ever reason. A Garett video here and there. As for the people that are hating on Tig they are just outright jealous!!!! The guy has made a huge name for himself, has some of the best partners in the golf industry. And on top of it all just bought a million dollar house, so F#$K all the haters keep doing you TIG!

Micah can have some good game, at times. His short game is not great, but I feel that his personality has a lot to do with his decline. I wish him the best, but his content is very mundane.

Hes obviously an amazing golfer but IMO he doesnt have "it" to be a tour pro...his iron and short game isnt great and i feel like he has some psychological stuff going on while on the course. Hes lucky to be in a place where he makes a good living off of making golf content (makes me jealous ngl) and I respect him for following his dreams.

Have to be honest here.. I’ve watched Micha when he was on GG and didn’t like him there either. He’s just so arrogant and not likeable. This is my opinion only. I just don’t find his content not entertaining. What really ended it for me was when Scharff got the hole in one on the par four. His shot prior to that hit the pin. Amazing shot honesty.. but when they were running down to freak out about the hole in one.. he kept bringing up his shot and how it hit the pin. Just seemed to me that he was trying to take away from Matt’s amazing shot. He was trying to make it about him. Frankly he’s just annoying.

I like Micahs vids because I like to watch actual golf not these stupid challenges GG does, the stupid wheel of not ideal, and thrift club challenge and rough is lava. and I'm not a 14 year old which seems to be their demographic judging by their meet ups.
