Rarely in this world are we gifted of such original poetry, reciting truth and harmony in motion, as a band like S.o.a.D. These guys are, in my opinion, at the top of the shelf when it comes to audibly resonating Beauty in Nature, and Veiled Atrocity. One of the best bands ever given breath, when taking the full measure of their works.

There's something about this song that breaks my schemes. The inicial riff, it's Em6, and it feels strange, like artificial, and then the verse doesn't feel like it's gonna turn to metal. For example, in aerials, the harmony tells you it's metal, but still soft. This verse uses just one chord for practically the whole thing, and it's a chord that's rarely used in metal. Do you know where they are used a lot? In Steven Universe and lo-fi.

In the chorus it switches to a pure Em, so even if it still was soft, you would know it's metal. Also, in the verse, what are you trying to tell me with the sweet berries? This song is amazing

Dude. think about it...I think they're talking about adulthood. the children are the sweet berries and there are "two ghosts waiting for you". the ghosts are adults because their life is over as soon as they hit that adult age. Then he asks "are you dreaming...dreaming tonight" in the sense that they need to keep their open minds and not get lost in the non existent lives of the ghosts.
