I wish they would make another Bridget Jones, so we could see the funny family life. They could make some funny scenes and include their friends kids in the play, also they could have the inevitable family Christmas jumpers for the family photo.

I am heartbroken. In the novels, it had been described why Mark and Bridget broke up; this deleted scene is as weighty as the one in the novels. We see how much Mark loves Bridget and the pain he feels every time Bridget and him are apart

How Mark loves Bridget ❤️. And I guess everyone needs this:

"Dear Bridget, I’m sorry about today. I think you were right when you said the fantasy of us was always better than the reality. What you want me to be and what I am just don’t add up. 

I do realise how difficult I make it for you to love me and it was never my intention to leave you so alone. Because in truth there must be something that I’ve never been able to give you. 

Why else did you go back to…. Daniel Cleaver.

It’s alright Bridget.

I always made myself believe that our history should lead us together, I want to life with you more than I ever wanted anything.

But how can I commit to this again, when, in three months’ time, it could all come crashing down, and you’ll leave me?

And now information has come to light that has led me to believe that my further involvement in this situation is impossible.

I agree with the folks here who said that this scene should have been in the movie. The movie was not cohesive from the bedroom scene when Bridget and Mark departed. THIS would have added so much to the movie, IMHO.

I'm so glad this wasn't in the movie. It implies that Bridget cheated on Mark with Daniel and I just can't believe that. Not after everything. I choose to believe Bridget would never do that to Mark, especially not with Daniel. (I'm talking about the movies. I don't care what happened or if it happened in the books).
