Oscar® winners Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth reprise their roles in the next chapter of the world’s favorite singleton in Bridget Jones’s Baby. Directed by Sharon Maguire (Bridget Jones’s Diary), the new film in the beloved comedy series based on creator Helen Fielding’s heroine finds Bridget unexpectedly expecting.

Patrick Dempsey joins the cast for the third installment, and longtime collaborators Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title Films produce alongside Debra Hayward. Universal Pictures will distribute Bridget Jones’s Baby in North America and select international territories.

They fucked up.. when an actress looks this old and deformed in comparison to her previous self, they can't expect us to believe Bridget and Mark are anything less than 45. Yet they are continuing the story of a woman in her 30s. I'm so cringed to even look at Rene. Damn I loved these characters. Better, they could have kept the story with Bridget and Mark having teenage kids and that time period or something.
