Today I’m going to be telling you what I think makes the best Ken doll and what to look for and what to avoid when shopping for one and also where to find some awesome and realistic stuff for them! When do I post?

What's frustrating to me is how MATTEL feels the need to put his name plastered on his shirts. I have some really cool shirts for Ken but are completely ruined because his name is on his shirt. Who wears their names on their shirts anymore? Oh video idea...you seem crafty. You should see if you can alter ken shirts to remove his name and then post a "how to video".

idk if it's just me but i love the old 2010 ken and ryan fashionista dolls. idk, something about the face molds just looks so nice. i'm a huge fan of the articulation too. never really liked the basic 4 points, but the elbow, wrist, and knee ones work pretty well.

I have been blown away by the jeans and athletic shoes, the intricate details. Wow, I don’t know how they do it.👏🏻

What I did was trim the top of his hair, dice the cut-off bits into tiny pieces to make my own flocking. I apply it to the painted sides with clear waterproof silicone caulking. It is quick and inexpensive and doesn't come off in water. It can be removed easily with acetone if you don't end up liking it, but it is always a perfect match because you are using his actual hair.

I love that red hair Ken. I've never seen a Ken that I like until him. I love curly red hair, so I thought he was perfect before the resyle. I'm so impressed with the doll clothes! Hopefully I can learn to make some soon. If you haven't already could you do a video on the best Etsy shops that sell doll clothes patterns? I'm especially interested in the ones that have the best instructions. & of course modern styles. I was disappointed by outdated patterns in sewing catalogs.

Did you know that there is at least one ken fashionista with "plastic" hair that can be removed? I saw a video a couple of weeks ago when some one did it and the put rooted hair in its place.. I thought it was awesome
Oh and the Emmett Twilight collector doll is beautiful as well, just too expensive

i think you can swap Chase's body in an articulated body... I feel like that doll with the GAP shirt has a good match with his skin tone... But that's just my opinion, do whatever you like

Ava- Your Ken dolls look good! I just like a male doll to look really male to me. Also, on male dolls I prefer rooted hair also. If they have hair on the face, I like a light beard. So, yeah- masculine is a must.
