I did this on my Jeep WJ, one of the passenger lamp switches fell apart, could not find a replacement, so I got one for another year, hot glued the switch to my housing and back in business. I don't know how long it hadn't worked, I thought the bulb was blown, didn't mess with it because I ordered the LEDs.

I'm very confused by the term "CANbus resistor Packed LED" Why do these lights need to communicate on the vehicle data bus? Where is the host processor and controller hardware? Are they in a separate module?
