On the death rays - some of your your green power runner dudes were totally idle when your ions were firing (i.e. at 27:14) and I suspect that your red guys that were operating the lasers have a higher priority for "Supply Ion Cannon Battery" than you want - it looks like they were leaving their posts operating the cannons and going to refill the battery themselves at some point. I would make sure that "Supply Ion Cannon Battery" priority for your power runner guys is set at maximum, and that their priority for "Operate Ion Cannon" is set to very low or not at all. I would also make sure those power runner bunks that were on the end are situated as close as possible to the cannons for the power runners.

One pattern I've seen in some of the ship designs is to have a separate "Operator" designation for crew, that have "Operate X" set at 10, and their "Supply Battery" (or supply ammo or whatever) set to much lower. The really nice part about this is that if you combine these crew with direct crew assignments to specific posts, then you can basically put their bunks wherever you want on the ship, freeing up the precious space around the weapons for power runner guys or capacitors, depending on what you need. But the overall takeaway being that the ones that are operating your weapons are almost never responsible for supplying resources to the weapon that they're operating - it's not their job, and it leads to interruptions in output.

Workers are the most scarce resource in the game. When you start the game and are selecting the game difficulty you can also choose how easy it is to recruit workers.

Your ship is so big it is now made for endgame. I am waiting for it to move to a new location

I love the deck cannons most but they are short range :( You referred to looking at other ships that were in the 1.5 million range. Those are competition ships and are used differently than a playthrough ship where you need to gather resources so they are made a little different. One thing that they have that you could use is their engine pods. Engine pods are efficient use of not only resources but mainly people used in them. Your ship is 1000% better than when you first made it so keep up the good work!

You can put engines on all sides of an engine room. So you should be able to power 6 engines with 1 engine room.
You also shouldn't put multiple engine rooms on the same engine. It's a waste.

So you started the video out almost impossibly inefficient, and ended it moderately inefficient.

i hate writing comments but i cant handle it anymore! U have nice content, but pleeease redesign ur engine cluster! its just terrrible! most inefficient ive evere see
at least, remove some of the engines room, u donty need that many, you just giving your crew unnecessary jobs (like in the real world) and prolonging their walk time(remember 50% move speed in rooms). You can make clusters with engine room in the center with three forward and three backward big thrusters snd smol reactor and crew of six nearby
