I had a 06 rm85 with a big bore and bottom end upgrades, and it had a lot of top end power, but it would've bogged down and I would have had to down shift to first gear and hope it would make it to the top of that hill. I took that rm85 to a rock crawling trail, and that was a mistake because I couldn't power through those rocky hills. The good thing about that 85 was it would rip through the woods, and it was small enough to ride in the yard. I had a 04 cr125 but and it was fun but it was too big for my yard so I am looking at buying a kx100 or kx110 2 stroke.

I really think you could have made it, those little 2 stroke bikes need to be rapped to the nuts.
Not to be "That Guy" but you need to shift down earlier, you should try shifting down about half way up the hill then maybe again 3/4 the way up the hill, just keep that thing rapped out.

As your speed decreased near the top, maybe you should have held a gear past the midway point and depending on the slope, drop one more gear about 3/4 or past that with the option of droping a second one near the top where you stumbled.

I think you would have made it if you didn't go into 4th gear 3/4 of the way up the hill

Don’t use aviation fuel in the kx112 because the carb isn’t tuned for that use regular or premium gas, and you really gotta tune that carb because it looks like your in high elevation

You gotta know that the tune is way off... the bike is super slow. Have a pro dial it in. Oh yeah, put on a diaper before riding afterwards!
