Excellent vid. I feel like Hunter is better in a man/press role than a zone CB. His technique is really underrated in press, he's great at varying his approach for different release packages, plus he's mostly disciplined, not opening his hips early. That, in addition to his footwork and athleticism helping him stay in phase through advanced release packages all have serious potential in making him the next man/press shutdown CB in the NFL.

He's a good cb prospect, good instincts, has seen a ton of football, fluid hips, great compete, and is very physical right before and at the catch point.

I totally disagree w/ matt harmon's odell take. He does not have anywhere near the juice or quicks of an elite wr prospect. His big plays are in a bad defensive conference off of missed tackles, bad angles, gaping zone whole, dbs playing way off or in no mans land, and the famed college football spin move that works every time until it doesn't in the nfl (remember Quentin Johnston and countless other big 10/12 receivers that made house calls). He also got a shit ton of volume his way, Sanders was always looking for him when the play broke down (and he's definitely good in those scenarios). It's just not an easy way to win in the nfl, it's some back yard football stuff. He's really good at reading the flow of play and this can be a weapon with the right qb, but i still think he has to become a more nuanced route runner.

If you look at his screen plays i don't see the juice. His skillset is an X receiver in a slot wr's body. Best case scenario you are looking at deandre hopkins/george pickens who's shorter and has shorter arm length. It's a huge projection. He's mostly a corner at the next level and then a lot of what if at wr.
