Dynamic Mobility
Preparation:
The Marine will start in the push-up position.
Execution:
The Marine will bring one knee up to their chest, tap the foot on the deck, and then return it to the starting position. They will continue to alternate sides, keeping the back flat while performing the movement.

This is a single person. This individual is not "they". They refers to more than one person. If you must be politically correct, why not just say, "the individual" or "the Marine" or "the person". Or how about respecting this person's individuality and just say "he" or "him".
