Arnold Kaplan plays Bach-Siloti Prelude in B minor – video 1971

This comes from a 1971 film about Bach titled 'Конкурс продолжается'. Arnold Kaplan studied with Alexander Goldenweiser from boyhood through postgrad. Thank you very much to Eugene.

My wife (a soprano) and I shared a program with this artist at a public library in Westchester County, NY in 1992 (he played the first half). Afterwards he accompanied us to a reception hosted by friends of my wife. He seemed a very pleasant and unassuming man, one whom I wish I had become better acquainted with. I am hearing some of his recorded work tonight for the first time. Thank you very much for these uploads!
