Both nations have mobilized troops along the border, leading to a volatile and rapidly evolving situation. The lack of official declarations of war and limited independent verification make it challenging to assess which side holds a strategic advantage. Historically, Pakistan has maintained a more advanced and better-equipped military compared to Afghanistan. However, the Afghan Taliban's familiarity with the terrain and experience in guerrilla warfare could offset some of Pakistan's conventional military superiority.
