Welcome to 2020 and to a new ride to work (For a little while). I borrowed a Zuma 125 to ride for a little while to see how I like it and how he likes the X22GT. Watch if you want to see how well she performs riding to work. I do enjoy the features of this scooter.

NOTE: I am not an expert but more of an enthusiast who is trying to build experience. Please feel free to ask questions in the comments or resources like 49ccScoot forums on the internet (Great Place!)

I bought my Zuma back in 2013 and all my Harley rider coworkers teased me mercilessly. And they all wanted to ride it, too.

A great Zuma 125! Thanks for posting. I look forward to seeing more videos with this bike. 🛵💨

It's an overlooked scooter. If you can pick up one for 1000 or around it jump on it!

I just reached one thousand miles on my 2020 Zuma 125. It's my 3rd Yamaha Zuma. Got a 50cc in 2005, got a 125 Zuma in 2014 and now the 2020 125. I bought a few gy6 150cc scooters off the internet and they are junk compared to the Yamaha Zuma. The Zuma scooter has always held up amazingly well. I sold the 2014 Zuma and it had 39, 000 miles on it and was still running perfectly. Change the oil and trans fluid often and the air filter and they will run forever.

I have a 10 mile commute daily to work, all surface streets. I think this little scooter would be ideal for that.

Always had a soft spot in my heart for the Zuma125's. However I feel the Genuine Hooligan 170i bests it in every way, except dealership availably and ability to customize. Good vid dude. I was unaware the little Zuma would go that fast.

Does it go any faster? I bought a new 2012 Zuma 125, and it would top 60 mph on a flat level road. I put 36K miles on it, almost all of them at full throttle, and it was still running like new when I sold it. You have to replace the belt every 10K miles, the tires last about 6K miles, valves are a pain to adjust because they are so hard to get to, and they are supposed to be done every 3K miles. It has 4 valves.

Love the Zuma125! I bought mine in 2010 and runs awesome. Not tall at all compared to my DRZ400 lol

The Zuma looks like fun. I recently picked up an Smax here in the states, but have ridden just about everything, living in Indonesia most of the last 4 years. I was surprised too at how tall the Smax is compared to it's Indonesian market counterpart Nmax. Feels more like a motorcycle than models in the SE Asian market. I'm assuming the Zuma must be heavy for a 125cc? I's expect it a bit faster, as the Smax is very comfortable at 70mph, at 328lbs wet. Anyhow, great video, and thanks for talking more than I do in riding videos. :-P

I like how you reacted to the car turning illegally in front of you. Then you explained just what I would have done. Are you still happy to have made it to 2020, LOL. Just kidding around. Like the Zuma but never had one. I did have a Vino 125 that I adjusted the veriator and weights on with a Doctor Pulley kit that would comfortably do 65mph. Good scooters.
