MrBeast Built 100 Wells in Africa. They’re Calling Him RACIST?

The world’s biggest YouTuber, MrBeast, built 100 wells in Africa to supply fresh drinking water to people in need and some activists are actually upset about it, accusing him of “perpetuating stereotypes” that Africa is dependent on handouts and “shaming” African governments that have failed to provide water for their own people. This isn’t the first time people have come after MrBeast for “charity p0rn,” and I have thoughts—let’s get into it.

I'm from Kenya and personally I'm grateful for what he has done..our government clearly wasn't stepping up and someone did. I'm yet to meet a Kenyan who thinks what he did was 'racist'

I guarantee that all the negativity he's receiving is not from the people he helped.

It's not about us or him. It's about getting the kids clean drinking water by any means necessary. End of story.

I am from Africa, Zambia. What Mr. Beast did is stupendously heavenly. Whoever views him as being racist is the greatest racist ever in the history of racism. Jimmy understands human nature and I pray to God to preserve and protect such people.
I love you, Jimmy.🇿🇲

As South African I can confirm
Africa is full of politicians who don't do anything for their people, people are just mad because he is embarassing the African politicians by doing all that... I wish Mr Beast keep on embarassing them more and more.

As an African from Botswana i can confirm drinkable water is huge problem for the majority of the continent and that we would be grateful for a thousand Mr. Beasts doing what he did.

Mr Beast has done what the governments in Africa has failed to do. Shame on them and shame to those calling him a racist.

He literally took the phrase, “If I don’t do it then who will” seriously and I can respect that.

This is what happens when a society values feelings over logic and common sense.

I'm from South Africa and our government is so corrupt. Hospitals are falling apart, police are only there to protect politicians. Even our water infrastructure is falling apart. We need more people like Mr Beast.

As an African I’m pissed at the people calling him racist. I was in Nigeria for nearly 8 years, we had to rely on well water to wash clothes, drink, cook, and a whole host of other things. This makes me appreciate him more because I remember walking long distance when our well went dry. More wells means less time and energy spent looking for clean water or any water nearby. It breaks my heart that people would looks at this as a mischievous act

There's no way to satisfy these people. It's NEVER enough. The dude did a great deed, and he's still the villian because of his race. But it isn't racism....🙄😒

I am from Kenya.
No one here has an issue with him.

We have a big issue with our government which is crazily taxing us right now but the work they are supposed to be doing is being done by Mr Beast.

As a colombian with access to all basic needs and a decent life, it's an honor to see that he came to our country in one video to help our community on that affected area. I really don't understand the people who talks trash about him, it's such a beautiful thing to see someone who has the ability to do this kind of stuff actually doing for real, instead of entities doing nothing for the improvement of the world.

As a Kenyan, what Mr.Beast has done for our country is so respectable, he has helped us where our government could not. I have no issues with anyone helping regardless of race, and to be honest, you won't hear any of us Africans complaining about someone who is ACTUALLY trying to help rather than take advantage.

The people who are complaining about "him doing it for clout" are the people who are projecting. The people who applaud him are the people who would do the same thing if they had the money

He did more for these people than the United Nations, the African Union or any Bretton Woods Institutions. God bless this young man. He should be protected at all cost. Doing good around the world like this is dangerous business for the people that want to maintain the status quo. Bless all the MrBeast team and the people who allow this to happen.
