I can see a lot of people REALLY didn’t like Shrek the Third. However, I do like it. I’m not gonna say it’s not a bad movie, because it is a bad movie, I just happen to enjoy it more than most people. I guess you could say it’s a guilty pleasure of mine. A movie can be bad and still enjoyed by people. So yeah, for me, Shrek the Third is a bad yet enjoyable film. Certainly better than a LOT of the live action Disney remakes, though.

I think the king kissing the horse ass has another joke implication. In Shrek 2 Donkey once turned into a horse. So assuming the horse statue represents Donkey, I can imagine Donkey saying to the king, "You can kiss my ass."
