Just a simple shearing. Yes, he is as soft as he looks.

What a cutie pie, he looks so soft and sweet! He seems so comfortable with you, only wiggling for when he's adusted to get more comfortable. A true testament to both your skill and his good temperament. Kudos to you both.

I love watching the wool fall away to reveal the spots in the skin and the corresponding spots in the wool. That's so awesome.

I’d just like to say, as a city girl myself I have had no experience whatsoever with shearing farm animals but truly, I love watching Katie and her wife do what they do best. I’m a city girl meets animal lover and so seeing Katie take on these beautiful animals and giving them a new lease on life often has me shedding tears by the end of the video. Keep it up ladies! You keep on because I love watching and learning from what appears to be the best! Much love from Los Angeles

I grew up going to a local homestead every spring to watch them shear the sheep, it was a whole event. I think we started going when I was 4. "the shearing festival" was one of the highlights of every spring as a kid. I always loved watching the process but I hated how they didn't care if the nicked or cut them... I loved how happy the sheep always seemed after but watching the careless way these folks used to swing the sheep around and slam the clippers into them every which way always struck me wrong. They'd bleed and someone would always be hanging out right behind the shearer with a container of kwikstop powder or a jar of cornstarch to ease the blood loss which was always messy and more abundant than it should be.

I think this is what drew me to your videos, you know what you're doing and you do it efficiently, making the most of the fleece while also caring about the animal and trying to do the least harm possible. (none is preferable)

To this day, in my late 30's, nothing compares to the sight of a freshly peeled sheep bouncing around like it's feeling the breeze. They just look so happy like "yeah, that was weird... but LOOK AT when they get back outside they almost act like they're showing off.

You are amazing! Both of you ate! Just a joy to watch. Thank you for posting these videos. I was showing my 5yr old grandson and explaining it to him. He was fascinated.

The markings on this ram are amazing. And I love the bleeding in the background.

Your confidence in what you do really shows in the actions of the sheep

The title says simple shearing, I’ve watched several of your videos in it, and I am a subscriber. I don’t think anything you do is simple. It requires skill and commitment to which you ladies have shown. Love the videos don’t stop.

I think I'd have lost my mind years ago if it wasn't for you, Sheepishly Me and The Sheep Game. A beautifully peeled sheep as always!

I like it when the camera is closer so you can see the clean wool underneath.
