I love this woman! Wish I hadn’t spent all this money on products recommended by all these make up guru’s for the past 12 years ;(

The best investment I have made was to have all my windows replaced with UV filtered windows. This is my forever home, so the money invested was worth it to me. It saves furniture, paint, art, floors, and yes skin.

As an asian, we really care about skin brightening.
A lot of my skincare products contain the ingredients mentioned.
These are what i've used. All of these are Korean products except The Ordinary. It's not i don't use western skincare at all, but when it comes to brightening product, it seems that asian skincare have more potent brightening ingredient 😅
I have tons of products that i have tried but i list down products that have the mentioned ingredients located at top 5 in their ingredient list.

...

Vitamin C: Tia'm C Source Serum (Contain 20% L-ascorbic acid), Some By Mi Yuja Niacin Serum (Contain 82.3% Yuja fruit)

Hydroquinone: Cos De Baha 2% Hydroquinone Brightening Serum.

Kojic Acid: Cos De Baha 2% Hydroquinone Brightening Serum.

Azelaic Acid: Cos De Baha 10% Azelaic Acid Serum.

Vitamin A: The Ordinary Retinol.

Salicylic Acid: Cosrx Blackhead Power Liquid (4% Natural BHA consists of willow bark water as the 1st ingredient and Betaine Salicylate as the 3rd), Cos De Baha Salacylic Acid BHA 4% Serum

Licorice Root: Acwell Licorice pH Balancing Cleansing Toner (This have 10% Licorice root extract as 2nd ingredient after water).

Niacinamide: Tia'm 10% Niacinamide+2% Arbutin, The Ordinary 10% Niacinamide+1% Zinc.

Sunscreen: Purito Centella Green Level Unscented

...
The most powerful brightening product goes to Cos De Baha Hydroquinone Brightening Serum. This serum alone contains a lot of actives mainly for brightening which is 2% Hydroquinone, 4% Azelaic Acid, 4% Niacinamide, Kojic Acid, Salacylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Hyaluronic Acid.
I used this for spot treatment and it works wonder😭
...
Sorry, most of them are unfamiliar to you, but i suggest you to try them since they are very cheap yet effective!!!
If you don't know what to choose among the list, I suggest you to try Tia'm C Source Serum, Cos De Baha Hydroquinone Brightening Serum and Cos De Baha Azelaic Acid Serum.
The Tia'm C Source Serum is for people who are familiar with vitamin C as it's too potent. Otherwise, i suggest you to try their niacinamide one as it did brightened my friend's face significantly while he has sensitive skin.
Hope it helps whoever read this 😁

Thanks to Dr Dray I switched from expensive skin care creams, La Prairie, to Cerave and other pharmacy brands and my skin still looks amazing. Needless to say I’m saving a ton of money.❤️

When you started with vitamin C I was side eyeing you while cooking 😂 always so informative! Been with you 1.5 years and I’ve never had such good skin. Also, you knocked Sephora and Ulta out of my budget and I’ve never felt so comfortable in my skin. You’ve freed up so much space mentally ❤️

Since my early twenties I have never walked out of the house without an SPF of at least 30. It pays off..I am almost 40 and people mistake me me for 30 sometimes. I have no wrinkles and dont buy any expensive products but starting to use Retinol now only. Sunscreen is crucial

Dr. Dray you're my hero 😭 I come from a family history of skin cancer and your channel was the final push I needed to go out and just make a dang appointment with a personal dermatologist already.

I just wanted to tell you that I brought you up to her and she really appreciates you for the information you're providing people regarding skincare and such. It's funny, she too spends her time mostly just trying to burn into my brain the message of "WAY less fragrance - MUCH more sunscreen" 😅 A *literal* lifesaver, I'd say

I love and salute this woman for taking such initiative to educate people around the world about cosmetics.. to be honest she is a dermatologist and popular one she doesn’t even have to do social media stuff for earnings.. but hats off to her for uploading daily videos and recommending products all around the world .. not only US products .. so that we can use better products and save our money.

800K subscribers! Proud mom, here. Dr. Dray was my first youtuber experience and she helped dramatically change my skin after I started watching her videos in Jan 2019 and decided to give tretinion another try... Now I'm a serious skinthusiast; preaching tret and sunscreen to everyone who will listen... thanks, Dr. Dray!

It's the sunscreen for me! I knew I wasn't crazy when I started wearing sunscreen and noticed my hyper pigmentation was lightening when I'd take it off. I always heard about the protection and prevention of hyper pigmentation that sunscreen offered, but I was so glad to hear it's ingredients actually help lighten dark spots. It's a no brainer for me now!
