1. Butter, grassfed. More OMG-3 fat vs. OMG-6 fat in grassfed butter.
2. L-Theanine. A type of amino acid available in green tea, but also as a supplement.
3. Celtic sea salt. Can counter negative effective of coffee. Help retains water.
4. Unrefined coconut oil. Remember to blend it. Better than MCT because more lauric acid.
5. Cinnamon. Stabilizes blood glucose level.

Keto coffee will keep you in ketosis but will break a fast if you consume calories...Ketosis is great for fat loss while in a caloric deficit. Fasting comes with some other benefits like atophagy which is enhanced by black coffee.

I just made my first cup of keto coffee! It’s so good!!!! I’m hooked. It has the best coconut taste balanced with the coffee and nuttiness! I heard the old timers used to put butter in their coffee. Thank you so much for the knowledgeable info!

Hey Autumn. Interesting video, keep up the great work!! :) I like the suggestion of adding cinnamon and was wondering if you've tried ceylon cinnamon instead of regular cinnamon. I believe ceylon is lower in coumarin which can be toxic in large amounts. (obviously, less than a tsp should be fine.)

Made my first keto coffee today. Waaaay better than any bulletproof coffee I’ve had from a coffee shop. Truly enjoyable! I usually drink black coffee w/ an add shot.

I started to get L-Theanine because you said it helps with sleep. Less cortisol production. But I discovered that if I drink (plenty of) coffee and L-Theanine, my head gets so clear and I can concentrate. Example... My Achilles heel was always memorizing my lines for acting scenes. It was torture and took me a long time. With L-Theanine and coffee (it needs the caffeine), I learn the lines in no time. This trained my brain so much that now I don't need it anymore. But in the beginning it was impossible for me. Plus it helped my friends work related stress. He said he can feel the panic go away after he takes a pill. Miracle stuff.

My father-in-law when he was alive would put a pinch of salt in his coffee before he drank it. When asked he'd say that's an old-timer's coffee trick. I never got it was to remove the bitterness....till recently....58 yrs old. I have been drinking coffee since 4 yrs old. Yes mostly milk then...but still....

Fat doesn't raise insulin, but ultimately fat still breaks a fast as it has some calories. Depends what you're trying to achieve.

I don’t drink coffee but I do drink postum or pero. Will that break my fast if used in place of coffee? They both seem to have about 1g carbs.

I find this video a bit weird. You're taking about bulletproof coffee and the like not breaking a fast, but last time I checked, anything containing more than a just couple of calories will break a fast... The moment you drink bulletproof coffee or keto coffee or coconut coffee or anything that contains significant amounts of calories, even if it's just fat and doesn't significantly impact your insulin response, you're still breaking a fast.

I loved cinnamon butter with sea salt in a blender with my coffee I want to fast again because I gained in recent years and never fully lost baby weight and because of genetics I have a chin lol I’ll be 34 this spring I can’t stand it I lost more after my first born but after having twins I struggled
