Rappers Against Racism was a German hip-hop collective that was founded in Kaiserslautern in 1998 .
The project Rappers Against Racism goes back to an initiative of rapper Joe Thompson ( Down Low ) and Ronald Bรคhr from the Kaiserslautern hip-hop label K-Town Records. The idea was to bring various European hip-hop artists together and to address the widespread social racism and the related discrimination based on skin color. The composition of the collective was variable, including Down Low and others. La Mazz, Trooper Da Don , Jay Supreme ( Culture Beat ), the Dungeon Mastaz and the rapper Richele.

The project's first single was a cover of I Want to Know What Love Is and was released in March 1998 by ZYX Music . In the same year the singles Key to Your Heart and Only You were released . All three reached the German single charts. In 1999 the group released the single Sorry and the first album The Message . At the same time the Italian label launched Baby Records them in Italy, where Only You in the summer also became a chart success and the album (there as Only You. The album sold) surprisingly the top of the Italian charts reached.

With the single Hiroshima , the Rappers Against Racism reported back in August 2000. In 2001 ZYX released the older single Streets of London , after which it became quiet around the group. In 2003 ZYX brought out the sampler Rappers Against Racism - The Message Vol. 2 , which however has no relation to the original project.
