You can see how much the equipment staff means and trainers mean to players. Henrik got so emotional when he came out to greet him.

Coming from a kings fan, I wish King Henrik would’ve won the 2014 stanley cup. He deserves a cup more than any other player in league history.

I am Canadian and was born and raised and still live in “the heart of Maple Leaf territory “ …I am a grandmother of 7 and I have been a Ranger’s fan since I was 5 years old. I have loved and followed the Rangers through the good and the bad…the rich years and the lean years. I have watched players come and go…seen some mighty fine young boys become men and become New York Ranger Legends (Bathgate, Giacomin, Gilbert, Ratelle, Hadfield, Howell, Leetch, Richter, Messier, Graves) I’ve seen them all play in my time! And what a thrill it’s been! Henrik is one of those Legends…he ‘s the best of the best and he exudes grace and class both on and off the ice. This was a fitting tribute to a great player and an even greater man. Thank you Henrik for 15 years of excitement…I wish you well in the next chapter of your life! ❤️🎈🥅🏒🇨🇦

Literally the best Game 7 goalie of all time.
Literally the only reason we got even one playoff appearance from 06-17, let alone 11 of them.
He carried NYR hockey through gross managerial incompetence and dreadful contracts comprising the rest of the roster for a decade and a half, and he joined the league late.

The King.

I stayed up to watch this long after midnight in sweden. I got tears in my eyes. Nice to see one of my boyhood heroes come in with a guitarr.

I've seen Henrik play since he was in the juniors. When he then started playing in the first team and was lost to us in Sweden I knew that he would get to experience something like this when he retired.Amazing player! One of the best goalies ever..

The most exciting part of Madison Square Garden was getting to chant "HEN-RIK" after a big save. Thank you for giving us one more.

THE KING. Best goaltender in the NHL that I've had the chance to see play in my lifetime.

As a bruins fan i always find myself coming back here to watch. Hank was incredible during his tenure with the rangers and loved playing against him. I truly believe he is the best player to ever hit the ice and not have a cup.

As a RedWings fan a big time tip of the cap. Mad respect for Henrik and Well deserved to see his number 30 along side the others in the rafters of MSG. He was a phenomenal goaltender.

As a Swede, as one who have seen him in the yellow shirt with three crowns on it, I feel so proud and honoured to have lived to seen him play. What a legend!
