Just got MH Rise for PC and doing the comparison of the effect of quick sheathe on LS Iai Slash.
It really got buffed (in addition to the other buffs for LS).

That right there is one of the reasons Rise LS is overpowered. The quick sheathe can be so quick that you can reliably use the Iai Counter in an instant, and since all the downsides that the Iai Counter had in Iceborne are now gone there's nothing to stop you from just spamming it over and over again

I REALLY hope they remove the bonus of adding a spirit level on succesfully landing iai spirit slash, the move is already good enough as it is. That way you could still use it as a combo starter into your spirit combo to fill up your spirit bar. Alot of LS' moveset would actually be used/viable instead of only iai sheath, spirit slash and helmbreaker.

QS3 was pointless in Iceborne like a lot of skills are anyway. Wtf is mushroomancer for?
