I think Merab said he'd beat Sean becuase he wouldnt rush in like Aljo did. I imagine thats easy to say but imagine how frustrating it is to get picked off from the outside. You gotta get in there and make something happen but Sean is like a woodchipper with his counters. I could see O'Malley being champ for a good while honeslty.

Sterling came into the fight with too little hair dye.

I think it is fair to say that was a early stoppage since the champ was able to change position at the same time the ref was stopping the fight.
But in 30 years, if the champ suffers from brain damage due to the hits he got in his career, I think this ref could confidently know he was not a part of that damage.
It is hard to be perfect, so I would rather see early stoppage than late.
