I use a 306 with a Bluetooth transceiver through a very good system, and I'm very pleased. It is much better than I thought it would be. I'm not sure I could hear a big difference between the two. Spotify runs very well. Just my experience. 😊😊

1) What's the max size card can the nw-a306 use?
2) Can the nw-a306 display cover art for all audio formats?

Can you run your entire music library off the sd card in the Xperia, or does it have to be loaded into the internal flash storage and then played? Is there a lag when playing songs if you can directly off the card? Are new songs added to a playlist file automatically detected when synced, or do you have to keep re- adding the entire playlist folder as its updated with new songs?

Really interesting comparison, it would be good to hear more about how the sound compares between Sony DAPs and Sony phones. Have you tested playing a FLAC file on both the A306 and Xperia 1 V (using DSEE Extreme/Ultimate)?

On first listen my xperia 1 is quite warm and a bit muted on the highs compared to my WM1A, but then again I've only used one iem on it and it's a multi BA pair too.

I have zéro problem to listen to dsd files on my Xperia 1 V or my Samsung.

I also have the nw-zx505 player ( and other dap from A&K, Fiio) but screen is too small to replicate the audio cassette expérience screen.
