What about Bangladesh? It's the size of Wisconsin with a population of 170 million people. The population of Wisconsin is 6 million.

This post is mislabelled. It should read “Most populous countries..” overcrowded countries should include the UK, the Netherlands, Singapore, Japan and so on.

Well, The Netherlands may not be very big, but we have a population density of 529 people per square km, which puts us ABOVE Nigeria and India for instance !!

Overcrowding and high population are two very different things. So which one is it? Many of the countries mentioned here are not overcrowded but have high population.

I used to live in Alaska and even though there is less than a million people in the State the majority live in one city so the population density makes it feel more crowded than it actually is.

Indonesia problem is also that it's population is concentrated in Java Island. The capital, Jakarta has 11 million residents by itself, which did put a strain on the supporting infrastructures. But the rest of the big Island, like Kalimantan/Borneo, Sulawesi, and Papua is practically sparse. Java itself hold 56% of Indonesia population, followed by Sumatra with around 21-22%

No country has unlimited resources to support growing populations and the US is no different

Apart from a few small city and island states, Bangladesh is the most densely populated country in the world with a population of 171 million, on just 150, 000 km2. For comparison: in The Netherlands, 17 million people live within less than 42, 000 km2.
The list you made has no overcrowding.

If you've been to any county in Africa you will know that most countries aren't developed enough to be considered "overcrowded".

After traveling to some of these countries, I realize just how blessed I am to have been born in the United States.

That's truly unbelievable. Having very high populations is not always good or convenient, but beholding, at least virtually, overcrowded areas within a small country's territory is too bad. People cannot fit in them, and they usually lack vital resources for a decent life, education, feeding, and so on. The world is getting worse increasingly.

One key reason is many of these counteries have extremely fertile river basins and lying in tropics which means weather is favourable
